About Me

I am a technical writer and author  based out of Duluth, Georgia. I have written technical documentation in the aviation, educational, and tech industries. I specialize in translating complex information into an efficient, easy-to-use format.

I am a United States Navy veteran and served five years as an aviation mechanic specializing in environmental control and egress systems of F/A-18 E/F Fighter Jets. I was attached to Strike Fighter Squadron VFA-143 Pukin' Dawgs based out of Virginia Beach, VA and served with an incredible group of men in women in service to this country. I’ve spent eight total years in the aviation industry constantly honing my comprehension of aircraft technical documentation through both utilizing the documents and making contributions to them myself. In my time as an aircraft mechanic, I was afforded the opportunity to lead as well as learn. In both private and military positions, I acted as supervisor maintaining maintenance deadlines, workloads, and maintenance procedures while adhering to the technical documentation provided.

I am currently a Senior at Georgia Gwinnett College aiming to graduate in the Spring 2025 with and English degree specializing in Writing and Rhetoric. My time at GGC has given me more than ample experience and equipment to propel myself into the professional world of writing. I’ve always had a passion for creation, and at GGC I truly found my stride while attending classes and learning the art of writing, editing, proofreading, document creation, and creativity.

I love what I do. I have found a beautiful blend of personal passions I’ve acquired throughout my life and have been given the wonderful chance of combining them into a profession. My journey is only beginning in the technical writing world and I am more than eager to find out where I will end up.
